MSF/DWB Student Chapter at UIC
Purpose
The student chapter of Doctors Without Borders (also known internationally as or MSF) at UIC aims to promote education, advocacy, and fundraising efforts surrounding humanitarian organization of Doctors Without Borders. We support MSF's humanitarian and medical efforts through fundraising and spreading awareness of their global initiatives since MSF relies on donations by private contributors in order to provide independent, neutral, and impartial aid.
This student chapter facilitates discussions involving global and public health issues ranging from epidemiology to policy and current events in the global health sector.
